These types of food packaging machinery are in high demand.

With the general improvement of people's living standards, demands for food packaging have grown increasingly higher, thereby driving the development of the packaging machinery market. Currently, the following eight types of food packaging machinery are in strong demand on the market.

First, bag forming-filling-sealing series packaging machines. Small and medium-sized bag packaging is widely applied with enormous demand, especially since the grain market was liberalized, creating substantial demand for small packages of flour and rice. Development should focus on series packaging equipment suitable for different material states and packaging weights, addressing applicability, compatibility, and reliability for agricultural products, while advancing toward multi-functionality, automation, and high-speed operation.

Second, complete sets of equipment for corrugated cardboard, box (carton) making, and printing. Currently, there are nearly 10,000 box (carton) packaging factories nationwide. Over the past decade, the demand for packaging improvements in the domestic distribution sector has continuously increased, keeping demand for corrugated cardboard, box-making, and printing equipment consistently strong with supply falling short of demand.

In addition to numerous daily necessities using carton packaging, bicycles and motorcycles are also adopting carton packaging. Fruits have switched from traditional wicker baskets to modern carton packaging. In the future, vegetables, grains, and edible oils will also use cartons as outer packaging, as will some machinery products and spare parts. Currently, 80 machinery manufacturers in China produce single-faced corrugated cardboard units with 1400-1600mm width, with some enterprises manufacturing three-layer and five-layer corrugated cardboard. With economic development and accelerated upgrades of carton packaging enterprises, there is an urgent need for wide-format (over 2000mm) complete equipment sets capable of producing five-layer, seven-layer, nine-layer, and high-strength corrugated cardboard and boxes (cartons).

Third, fruit and vegetable processing and preservation packaging equipment. Fruit and vegetable processing and preservation represent a major future trend. There is urgent demand for fruit and vegetable grading technology and equipment, juice extraction equipment, energy-saving concentration technology and equipment, as well as quick-frozen vegetables and vegetable dehydration technology and equipment.

Fourth, complete sets of equipment for instant/convenient food production. The demand is growing for complete machinery equipment to process instant noodles, instant rice noodles, dried noodles, hollow noodles, instant porridge, and convenient foods like steamed buns, buns, and dumplings. Additionally, equipment for traditional food processing and for elderly and infant food shows promising prospects and should be prioritized for development.

Fifth, complete sets of beer and beverage filling packaging equipment. Currently, there are over 800 major breweries and more than 2,000 major beverage factories nationwide. Beer filling machinery should focus on developing medium-scale filling equipment sets with annual capacity of 50,000+ tons, while appropriately developing large-scale beer filling equipment sets with annual capacity of 100,000+ tons.

Sixth, slaughtering and meat processing machinery. In recent years, urban and rural areas have vigorously developed breeding industries, leading to rapid growth in slaughtering and processing equipment. There is urgent demand for small-scale poultry slaughtering equipment, large-scale slaughtering equipment, portioned cutting and processing technology equipment, and deep-processing machinery for refined meat products like sausages and hams.

Seventh, pharmaceutical processing complete equipment sets. Various Chinese and Western medicine processing equipment sets, especially modern machinery for processing traditional Chinese medicine, are in high demand.

Eighth, grain and edible oil deep-processing equipment. Grain and edible oil deep-processing equipment has maintained a 20%-30% annual growth rate in recent years, a momentum that is expected to continue.
